"The Divine Attributes of Allah: Understanding His Mercy and Power"

Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) is the only Creator, Sustainer, and the spiritual guide of the universe. Everything in existence is created by Him, and nothing occurs without His will. The Quran mentions numerous attributes of Allah, which guide every aspect of our lives.

Some of Allah’s important attributes:

  1. Ar-Rahman (The Beneficent) – Allah is the most merciful, and His grace and mercy extend to all of His creations.
  2. Ar-Rahim (The Most Merciful) – Allah’s mercy is especially for the believers and He shows infinite compassion towards them.
  3. Al-Malik (The King) – Allah is the Sovereign of the entire universe; nothing changes in His creation without His will.
  4. Al-Hayy (The Ever-Living) – Allah is eternal and immortal; His existence has no end, and He is independent of everything.
  5. Al-‘Alim (The All-Knowing) – Allah knows everything, including past, present, and future.
  6. Al-Kashif (The Remover of Difficulties) – Allah is capable of removing all troubles, and in moments of hardship, we seek His help.

Our Relationship with Allah:

  • Our relationship with Allah is built through prayer (Salat) and worship (Ibadah). By following His guidance in our daily lives, we strengthen our bond with Him.
  • Belief in Allah and having Taqwa (God-consciousness) brings inner peace. Allah is always ready to help, and the Quran states, "I am near" (Quran 2:186).

Our Duty:

Our duty is to obey Allah’s commands, worship Him, and seek His help. Allah tests us, but everything is easy for Him, and He provides us with strength and assistance.

Prayer:

Prayer is an essential part of our lives through which we seek Allah’s help, remember His attributes, and ask for solutions to our problems. Allah shows us unparalleled mercy, and He listens to our prayers.

Thus, maintaining a relationship with Allah, placing trust in Him, and following His commands should be the main goals of our lives.
