 1. Good dreams are from Allah:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"A good dream (ru’ya saliha) is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan."

2. Good dreams can be shared:

"If anyone of you sees a good dream, let him narrate it to someone he loves."

3. What to do if you see a bad dream:

"If anyone of you sees a bad dream, let him seek refuge with Allah from it, spit lightly to his left three times, and not tell it to anyone—then it will not harm him."

— Sahih al-Bukhari: 6586

4. Revelation used to come through dreams:

"The beginning of the Divine Revelation to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was in the form of righteous dreams. Whenever he saw a dream, it would come true like the break of dawn."

— Sahih al-Bukhari: 3

5. Seeing the Prophet in a dream:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my appearance."
